Hard at Work!

So I finally had two days off in which I got to come back home and had the opportunity to blog! Yay! Ive been so disappointed in myself for not blogging sooner. I check out local blogs everyday and am so proud of Sharon for blogging on a daily basis. The last time I was in Saskatoon I finally had the opportunity to scrapbook for almost an entire day in my scrapbook room. This was the first official time and I loved it. It was the best feeling in the world, and although I didnt get any new pages started, I completed several pages from awhile ago. I would have given anything to have another day off so I could keep going. I know I would have gotten so much accomplished. It was sad to have to go back to Lanigan and work when I was finally on a roll but Im back in the city on Tues night until Thurs night this week and hopefully my mojo will return and I will get some new pages finished. I thought I would share a little sneak peak of my scrapbook room with you. It gives you an idea of the general theme of my room. If I ever get it cleaned up, I will post some pictures of the entire room soon.Of COURSE I have to post a few pages!! So here they are. The first two I started at the Spring Fling crop at JSI. The one of me and my sister Michelle, is a picture taken the day of Alisha's wedding in Mexico. It came together really easy and I loved using Lorraines Quickcuts at the crop. The font of hers that I used is my favorite!

The second layout is of Ella and my puppy Quincy. Ella is two and half now, and when she says "I love you" her "love" is actually "la". She always says "I la you quincy!" Its even cuter when she says it on speakerphone when she askes to talk to Quincy!

The last one of Ella with the towel on here head I had started in January. It took me until now to put the finishing touches on it. She is such a goofball and I cant wait to go and visit her and Gabrielle at the end of this month!
Here are a few close ups.

I love the cheesy smile page...so simple but very cute. I am curious though if you ever did finish that page from JSI's crop that you couldn't decide on a title for the page you did of yourself..believe there was a cut of over lay with green dots on it(I was the one sitting behind you...lol) Also, I noticed that your pics of your room were the same as what is in your title of your blog...how did you do your title. I tried to put a pic on my title and it came up really big...and I am trying to figure out how some do small rectangular pics in thier titles and how you did the circles. Anyways, I check your blog often and glad to see your post..

Hi April. I made my banner in Photoshop and cropped the photos into circles there. Yes the images are very similar to the theme of my room but the actual photos on my banner for the blog are just pictures I found online. Yes, I did think of a title for that page I had started at the crop and am going to post it soon! Thanks for the comments! Its nice to hear that ppl enjoy my blog.

Love em. Love em. You have such great ideas, the page of you and Danielle is gorgeous and the pages of Ella and Kinsey (as she calls her) and the one in the towel show her impishness. Love Mom
